Details | The AZ Wagon is a light minivan type that will be sold by Mazda after receiving OEM supply of the Wagon R/RR from Suzuki. It adopts Mazda's brand symbol and Mazda's family face with a five-point grille. All five-door high-rise bodies are equipped with a 660cc in-line three-cylinder DOHC VVT (54 horsepower) and three types of intercooler turbo, M turbo (60 horsepower)/S turbo (64 horsepower)/DI turbo (64 horsepower). The drive system is available in FF and full-time 4WD. A four-speed automatic with a new column shift lever that does not block the view of the audio and air conditioning, and a floor-mounted five-speed manual are also available for non-turbo models. The regular series with an F includes four types: the turbo-equipped "FS" and "FT", and the non-turbo VVT-equipped "FX" and "FA". The sporty RR series includes two types: the direct injection turbo "RR-DI" and the S turbo "RR". The RR series is equipped with special headlamps, a front grille, front and rear bumpers, wide tires, etc., enhancing the high-end sporty feel. The RR-DI is the first minicar turbo engine to adopt the "direct injection (DI)" system. The interior features a split sliding, folding and reclining rear seat with a sliding range of 135 mm.
