Frequently Asked Questions

1) Is Riyasewana.com free?: Browsing ads and posting registered (used) vehicle ads is free. Unregistered (reconditioned) vehicle ads have a small posting fee. All other categories (spare parts, bicycles, etc.) are free.
2) Why is my ad pending?: Your ad goes live as soon as you verify your phone number. We send a 6-digit code to your phone by SMS; enter it on the verification page. If you have verified the number before, your ad goes live straight away. Pending ads show a "Verify phone to activate" link in My Account.
3) Is there a charge for the verification code?: No, the code is sent free of charge. It is valid for 10 minutes, and you can request a new code up to 3 times an hour.
4) I entered the code but my ad is still pending. Why?: A small number of ads are held for a manual check by our team before they go live. We review them as quickly as we can during office hours. If it is urgent, call 077 444 6565.
5) How long does my ad stay visible?: Ads remain active for approximately 3 months. You can use the "Bump Up" feature to move your ad back to the top of listings at any time.
6) Can I edit or delete my ad after posting?: Yes. Log in to your account, go to "My Ads", and you can edit details or delete the ad.
7) What is "Bump Up" and "Top Ad"?: "Bump Up" moves your ad back to the top of search results. "Top Ad" places your ad in the premium featured section for extra visibility. Both are optional paid features.
8) I forgot my password. How do I reset it?: Go to the login page and click "Forgot password?". Enter your registered email and we'll send you a reset link.
9) How do I report a suspicious ad?: Tap "Report Ad" on the ad page, or call us on 077 444 6565 or email info@riyasewana.com with the ad link. We'll review and take action promptly.
10) Can I post spare parts or bicycles?: Yes. When posting an ad, select "Spare Parts" or "Bicycles" as the vehicle type. These categories are also free.
